Cycle for Change Members
The Cycle for Change project is made up of an international team comprising riders and support staff from all over the world. We are based in Tokyo Japan but have members that hail from Australia, Japan, U.K and U.S and are always looking for more international partners to become involved and help bring about change.

Gavin Dixon
After leaving university rather disillusioned with the world of Economics, I embarked on a lifetime of wandering that continues to this day. I have worked in various fields ranging from international marketing and sales to European tour guiding, while fitting in visiting over 55 countries along the way.
I currently work as an MBA consultant in Tokyo, Japan and hit the road on my trusty bike as often as possible dreaming of riding to the far corners of the earth, making a positive contribution and having a great laugh along the way.
My greatest job was for no money at all - volunteering in tsunami ravaged Thailand in 2005 was a life changing experience and instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to help those less fortunate and to make a real difference in any capacity my skills will allow.
The environmental challenges we face are now a passion of mine and it is through the Cycle for Change project that I believe I can make the greatest contribution to helping change the way we look at climate change.

After leaving university I followed the usual path and joined a large corporation in Tokyo to work in PR and IR. During my first summer vacation I was lucky enough to visit my friend who was working for an NGO in Bangladesh and it changed my whole perception on life. I saw the people and their life and thought “I want to help them” Although I had thought like this since childhood, my Bangladesh experience connected me with the harsh reality of survival most people face everyday around the world. I realized that I didn’t want to live the life that was planned for me and quit my job to study English in London. After meeting many amazing people and getting a greater understanding of the world I was inspired to take action to fight. climate change and make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate than me. With the great possibilities of making a real contribution to society, I have become passionate about making the Cycle for Change project a great success.
