Starting from Kathmandu, Nepal in June 2009!
Throughout the northern summer of 2009 we will ride from Nepal to Bangladesh via northern India visiting, NGO’s, local communities, scientific research groups and others to highlight the effects of climate change on the region and connect them with the challenges that we will all face in the near future.
Nepal. India and Bangladesh are uniquely placed to highlight the extremes of climate change on a huge variety of environments ranging from the glacial regions of the Himalaya to the massive river delta and coastal areas of Bangladesh. There are so many different ways that climate change affects people depending on where they live and we want to show you that this is something that affects us and the generations that will follow and we need to act now to change the way we behave and interact with the environment.
